1) Treat every firearm as if it were loaded!

2) Use only the ammunition that the manufacturer recommends!

3) Always keep the muzzle of the firearm pointed in a safe direction!

4) Always keep your finger off of the trigger and out of the trigger guard unless you intend to fire the weapon!

5) Always keep your safety on until your ready to fire!

6) Always wear appropriate ear and eye protection!

7) If you have children, Always use a Child Safety Lock or other commercially available locking device!

8) Become familiar with, and obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase, possession, carrying, use, storage, and disposition of firearms!

9) Always be sure of your shot!

10) Always be sure that your firearm is in firing condition before you pull the trigger!

11) Always treat misfires with extreme caution and care!

12) Always make sure that your firearm is unloaded before you store it!

13) Never use alcohol or drugs while shooting or hunting!

14) If you have children in your house, teach them not only to respect firearms, but also show them how they work and how to shoot them!

15) Always use common sense at all times when handling firearms!
